Mrs. T.A. Kusum Bandara assumed duties as the Additional District Secretary (Administration) of Kegalle today (16).

She has extensive experience in the field of administration, received her basic education from Wewelkandura College and Gamini Central College, Ratnapura and subsequently completed her Bachelor of Commerce (General) degree from the University of Peradeniya, a Post Graduate Diploma from the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Organizational Management from the University of Peradeniya.

She joined the Management Assistant Service as her first appointment in 1997, joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in 2006. Since then, she has served as the Regional Director of the Kegalle Rubber Development Department for eleven years and as the Kegalle District Samurdhi Director for seven years. With eighteen years of experience in administrative service, Mrs. T.A. Kusum Bandara is a First Class Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service.
