A progress review of foreign employment officers working at the district and divisional secretariat levels was held 26th of March at the District Secretariat Auditorium.
At the meeting, the issuance of family background reports related to migrant families, family follow-up activities, labor protection programs, programs related to safe migration, and programs expected to be implemented with migrant worker families and those already engaged in self-employment, future plans and the progress of each divisional secretariat division in relation to this quarter were discussed.
This meeting was organized by the District Coordinator for Foreign Employment, Mr. Harendra Udumulla and the said division.
Additional District Secretary (Lands) Mr. Dilip Nishantha and a group of foreign employment officers and development officers from the District and Divisional Secretariats were present at the event.
