The Kegalle District Audit Management Committee meeting related to the fourth quarter was held in the morning of today (25) at the District Secretariat Auditorium under the chairmanship of Kegalle District Governor/District Secretary Mr. Mahinda S. Weerasooriya.

The District Secretary Mr. Mahinda S. Weerasooriya mentioned here that it is extremely important to conduct the district audit committee for the correct implementation of the administrative and development activities of the district, to maintain the financial discipline of the officials and to establish a proper public service.

Audit activities in several areas including capital expenditure and recurrent expenditure financial progress review were discussed here.
