In view of the economic crisis in the country, various programs are already underway to speed up the process of sending skilled workers abroad to generate foreign exchange.

As another step, the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau organized the first district awareness program on foreign employment opportunities for the employees of the Multi-purpose Development Task Force Department yesterday (10) at the District Secretariat Auditorium.

This program was organized by the District Foreign Employment Coordinator Mr. Harindra Udumulla.

Additional District Secretary (Administration) Charitha Ilangakoon, Senior Manager (Migrant Resource Centre- Ratnapura) B.A.Rohini, District Multipurpose Coordinating Officer Major R.D.A.S.Rajapakse, Multipurpose Unit employees and others were present on this occasion.
