Mrs Dinisha S Rathnayake, a first grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, took charge as the new Additional District Secretary (Administration) Kegalle.

She has completed her Bachelor's degree (in Science) from Ruhunu University and has also obtained her post-graduate degree (Master of Science) in Regional Development, Planning and Management from Technical University of Dortmund, Germany and University of Austral, Chile. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Sociology from the University of Kelaniya and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations from the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies.

Also, Mrs. Dinisha S. Ratnayake has participated in training programs at home and abroad under several subjects such as public administration, human resource management, information technology and programming, improvement of management skills, etc. and has achieved many professional qualifications.

Mrs. Dinisha S. Ratnayake, who joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in 2003, is an experienced officer who has held many positions in several ministries and departments.

Accordingly, Assistant Secretary (Ministry of Prosperity and Poverty Alleviation), Assistant Secretary (Ministry of Nation Building and Estate Infrastructure Development), Assistant Secretary (Ministry of Economic Development), Assistant Regional Secretary (Mirigama), Assistant Director (Rubber Development Department), Director (Rubber) Development Department), she worked as the Kegalle Additional District Secretary (Lands and Development) until she assumed her duties in the new position.
