An awareness program about GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) certification was held today (03) at the District Secretariat Auditorium under the resourcefulness of the Sri Lanka Standards Institute.

The importance of obtaining quality certificates for a business was emphasized and this workshop was conducted targeting a selected group of entrepreneurs in the district. The awareness workshop was organized by the Small Business Section of the District Secretariat.

District Small Business Division Assistant Director L.H.T.Manoja, Sri Lanka Standards Institute Assistant Director Indika Lindamulla and Promotion Officer Pasindu Induwara, District Entrepreneurship Training Officers Rashini Amarasekara and Chamanti Pathirana participated in this event.
