On the occasion of the National Vesak Week, the Sumadhura Poetical Dharma Lecture organized by the Buddhist Affairs Section of the District Secretariat was held today (04) in the morning at the District Secretariat.

 Radio and television poetic preacher Rambukkana, Mawanella Buddhanava viharavasi Mathurata Dhammika Thero, visited for that purpose.

Also, on the occasion of Vesak week, institutions and accounting departments had organized a coriander and bread dansala today.

A group of staff officers and office officials including District Governor/District Secretary Mr. Ranjan Jayasinghe were present for those occasions.
