A discussion between the government and private institutions on the Vocational Training Hands-On Program was held yesterday (24) at the Sri Lanka Institute of Standards under the chairmanship of Mr. Kanaka Herath, Acting Minister of Technology.

For that Sri Lanka Standards Institute, Sri Lanka Board of Investment, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, the Ministry of Manpower and Defense and many private institutions were involved.

A group of officials from government and private institutions including Mr. Ranjan Jayasinghe, Kegalle District Secretary, Asanga Ranasinghe, President of Sri Lanka Pramthi Institute, Mr. Dilip Nishantha, Additional District Secretary, Mr. A.A. Weerakoon, Director of Planning participated in the event.
