As directed by the Kegalle District Governor, a blood donation charity event was conducted today (19) at the district secretariat auditorium by the organization of the district Buddhist affairs department.

Nearly 100 government officials, including officials from the district secretary's office, were present for donating blood, and the staff attached to the blood bank of Kegalle Hospital had given their full contribution.

On that occasion, a group of government officials including District Governor/District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Administration) Dinisha S. Rathnayake were present.
