The District Industry Committee established for the betterment of industrialists in Kegalu district met yesterday (24) under the chairmanship of the District Secretary (Lands) Gamalathge Dilip Nishantha.

The plans to be carried out by this committee, which has been established to cover the fields of small business, development, productivity, industrial development, national enterprise development and agriculture, were discussed here.

Accordingly, it was discussed to educate school children about the development of entrepreneurship at the school level to provide solutions at that level for the problems faced by the entrepreneur at the rural and regional level, and to bring the problems that cannot be solved to the district level to make this mechanism more efficient.
