The Department of Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs and the District Secretariat jointly organized a training program for Hindu Dhamma school teachers yesterday (17) at Sri Vishuddharama Conference Hall in Karavanella.

Along with this training, which was supported by the resources of Messrs. G. Sreedharan and Deshbandhu Kitinan Manivannan, Dhamma school books were distributed, Dhamma school teachers were evaluated and certificates were awarded and prizes were awarded to those teachers.

The program was organized by the District Hindu Affairs Officer Mr. A.S.P.N.P. Sanjay, in which about one hundred and fifty Hindu Dhamma school teachers participated.
