On the occasion of the month of Vesak, in connection with the cultural program 'Dolosmahe Pahana' implemented by the Department of Cultural Affairs, the Vesak decoration and gokkola design program using natural materials centered on the art centers, rural societies and beauty children's societies of Buluruppa Grama Niladhari domain - 2024 today (2024.05.10) held at the Tibbattumunuwa  Sri Sudarshanarama Temple.

Resource contribution for this cultural activity Ayurveda Dr. M. R.Senarath Bandara gave the opportunity to share with the children a collection of beautiful experiences from the past under the theme "Let's go see Vesak". Buluruppa, Thibbatumunwa, Headmaster of Piyarathana Dhamma School and Sudarshanarama Viharaya Headmaster, Venerable Kadavata Seelarathana Thero presided over the religious rites and the purpose was explained by Mrs. Malsha L. Priyadarshani, Kegalle Assistant District Secretary.

After the short dance performed by the children of "Chamara" art school, Vaidyacharya M. R. Senarath Bandara delivered a short speech. It was after this that the Gokkala design program was started.

The event was attended by Kegalle District Culture Officer Mrs. Kanchana Wijeratne, district cultural department officials and Kegalle Divisional Secretariat Cultural Officer Nayana Hewamanna, Buluruppa Village Service Area Village Officer, Economic Development Officer and children and parents of the area.
