The closing ceremony of the training program for the new Grama Niladari who passed the Grama Niladari service competitive examination covering all the divisional secretariats of Kegalle district was recently held at the Kegalle district secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of J. M. R. P. Jayasinghe.

After this program, which was concluded with a continuous training period of fifteen days, the apprentice village officer candidates will be employed for training in the Divisional Secretariat offices.

The District Secretary who spoke there said that while engaging in duties in the field, the knowledge acquired through this training can be put into practice and more knowledge can be gathered and you should try to solve the problems of the clients by informing them in every possible way. Also, you should not make mistakes intentionally, you should increase your knowledge and share it with other officers in a friendly manner, you should work cooperatively with other officers, you who are young in search of new knowledge can be armed with knowledge and that knowledge will help you in your career. It was further pointed out by him.
