In order to digitize the public service, the inauguration of the six-day training workshop to train officers with knowledge of information technology as trainers in the divisional secretariat offices of Kegalle district took place yesterday (10) at the district secretariat auditorium.

This program was conducted by the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) and the District Information Technology Unit and the District Training Unit are jointly coordinating this program.

Manoj Hemaratne, Senior Manager of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Achala Upuldeniya, Lucky Gamage (Luck Holdings) attended the training on the first day.

A group of government officials including District Secretary / District Governor Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Administration) K.G.S. Nishantha, Assistant Divisional Secretaries, Administrative Officers, Administrative Village Officers were present on this occasion.
