A program to introduce the "Mitropadeshana" concept was organized 21st March at the District Secretariat Auditorium under the leadership of the Mediation Board Commission of the Ministry of Justice.

This concept of "Mitropadeshana" was introduced to the chairmen and vice-chairmen of the Mediation Boards for a more efficient, qualitative, productive and communicative mediation process.
The Asia Foundation had provided financial support for this workshop, which consisted of a number of theoretical and practical activities.
The District Mediation Unit had organized this program.
The Maha Sangha Ratnaya, District Secretary/Government Agent Jagath Herath, Additional District Secretary (Lands) Dilip Nishantha, officers of the District Mediation Unit, and chairmen and vice-chairmen of the Mediation Boards were present at the event.
