An adult eye examination clinic
An eye examination clinic for senior citizens was recently held at the District Secretariat.
Nearly two hundred and twenty adults representing Kegalle, Mawanella, Aranayake, Rambukkana, Warakapola, Galigamuwa, Bulathkohupitiya regional secretariat joined this clinic.
On the coordination of the District Health Services Directorate, eye examination was done by the eye technicians of Mawanella Primary Hospital.
Spectacles and contact lenses are to be provided in the near future on the basis of the provisions of the National Elderly General Secretariat.
The program was organized by the District Elders Division including Ms. Delaney Kumari, District Elders Rights Promotion Officer.
