Cultural Officer Second Quarterly Progress Review Meeting
A meeting to review the progress made in the second quarter related to the twelfth quarter lamp of the Department of Cultural Affairs was held on 07/01/2025 at Kegalle District Secretariat Auditorium under the Assistant District Secretary Malsha L. Presided over by Ms. Priyadarshini.
Here, the progress of the programs carried out by the cultural officials of the central government and the provincial council in the district during the three months of April, May and June was examined. Bak Maha Festival and Folk Sports Festival in April, Saundarya Children's Club Vesak Week and Ramadan Festival in May, "Ketai Bhatai - Ape Kamai" local food culture, creation of "Sanskritiya" magazine for the tourism industry were presented here.
Apart from this, Chakraleka District Culture Officer informed about the examination of Kala Bhushan Certificates and the appointment of the Kala Bhushan Award Award Tribunal.
