A training program for officers of the Employment Promotion Division as trainers was held today (14) at the Kegalle District Secretariat Auditorium.
The "Future Workforce Sri Lanka" program, which acts as a partner in paving the way for children to enter the world of work, provides the necessary information and awareness. The importance of creating a vocational education system that goes beyond the current educational framework and introduces children to an educational process that is blended with modern technology, was discussed here.
Officers were informed about a number of issues, including providing necessary information to school children when they are seeking higher education, informing them about alternative methods, and informing them about meeting the basic qualifications required when seeking employment.
This program was organized by the Employment Promotion Officer Ranjith Mugunuwala and the resources for the program were provided by the Project Officer Dhammika Bandara.
Additional District Secretary (Land) Dilip Nishantha, a group of officers from the Employment Division of the District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariats participated in this event.
