In an environment where the elderly community is challenging the society for the International Elderly Day celebrations, "A rich country a beautiful life" in the government national policy frame, "Let's save a generation" Interviews were held last day for the selection of talented adults from AA fields to be awarded with special senior citizens award on the theme Adult Day celebration day.
These interviews were conducted for competitions including the oldest adult selection, the eldest children giving mothers, the successful rural adult union evaluation, the most successful local adult force evaluation, the most successful adult daycare evaluation and the most successful self-employed adult alert.
It was showed strong interest of the elderly community and the activity was organized by the department including the district adult promotion officer Mrs. Dilani Kumari.
