A digital signature introduction project will be implemented from today (15) to more efficiently fulfill the duties of the Home Affairs sector according to the legal grant of the Electronic Transactions Act of 2006.
The project is operational in the Home Affairs Division of the Ministry of Local Administration and Local Government, all district secretaries and selected 25 regional secretariats for this project.
Accordingly representing all district secretariat and area secretariat offices, Kegalla District Secretary Mr. Jagat Herath joined the inauguration ceremony using signature through digital system.
This articles can help prevent delays in working, as well as considering a more efficient and effective service.
This project is going to be implemented in all provincial secretariat and all government institutions in future.
