Under the first session of this program held under two sessions, the parliament ministers of Kegalle district informed about the concept to a group of elected government officials from Kegalle district who directly connect with the political authority and the public.

The programme was focused on training selected field officers who directly connect with the public as trainers. The aim of conducting this program is to make these officers work effectively as agents of moving the Clean Sir Lanka concept among the public.

The program started in Kegalle district as a pilot project is set to be held in other districts of the island ahead.

Identifying key fields under the Clean sir Lanka programme today through this programme, including them in mid-term strategy planning and annual action plans, deciding action possible under the three key towers, financial facilities and requirements. Viewing, discussed the responsibility and expected tasks of government institutions to create simple efficient and democratic approach in approaching citizens, efficient effectively effective accuracy and transparency through digitalization.

The resource contribution of this day with practical activities was given by Mr. Dulip Somiratne, Director (Achara Dharma) of Clean Sir Lanka Secretariat.

The program was organized by the District Planning Department including Mrs. Indrika Senaratne and Deputy Director Mrs. Sajini Ranasinghe under the guidance and guidance of Kegalle District Secretary Mr. Jagat Therath in coordination with the Presidential Secretariat.
