program on enquiry and goals completed by the Sri Lanka Social Security Board under the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment was held today (2025 09 29) at Kegalla District Secretariat Auditorium, Kegalla District Secretary H. M. J. M. Under the full supervision and leadership of Mr. Herath.
Today was an investigation of the progress of recruiting members and charging premiums for the Social Security pension system implemented by the Sri Lanka Social Security Board for those who do not receive any pension in the community. The progress of the development officers associated with the Ukta Ministry of Kegalle Divisional Secretariat Division 11, Chairman of Sri Lanka Social Security Board M. K. B. Mr. Dissanayake was pre-supervised and was inquiry here to recruit members of AA development officers and whether its targets have been completed. The village officers of the domestic duty was performed as an additional duty over the last period and the development officers affiliated with the ministry is currently being performed as the village officers are out of the same job.

Here, the number of development officers to the AA Divisional Secretariat in Kegalle district was 7525 members recruited when the overall result was 7,035,342.00. Also the number of members enrolled from 2035 01 01 to 2025 09 12 was 2651 and the amount earned was 4,881,584.00. It is a speciality that Galigamuwa Divisional Secretariat of Kegalla District has won the first place in the entire island in the year 2023/24/25. This caused the dedication, interest and supervision of Galigamuwa Divisional Secretary Susantha Herath.
Here the chairman of the Sri Lanka Social Security Board said that every development officer has been given a target of 300 members and it is very important to keep the membership and installment payment active. Mrs. Herath (Sabaragamu Province) Chairman of Sri Lanka Social Security Board and its Deputy General Manager Kalhari De Silva, development officers of Kegalla District Divisional Secretariat Division 11 and all officers of District Social Security department were present in this program.
