The district celebration was held this year with the presence of hundred selected preschoolers and sixty student ambassadors covering the Divisional Secretariat of Mawanella and Rambukkana.

In this celebration filled with quirky dancers of the children, many activities were organized to help the children live the day as a reciever and leadership training for the student ambassadors. And the children were also given the opportunity to visit a snake eagle, a bus and a hypocrite, a few of the rare animals that are currently under treatment.

The World Children's Day District Celebration was sponsored by Tea Life Vision Organization, the rest of the sponsors were provided by LB Finance, Nolimit, and Candos.
