30336 people of 8032 families have been displaced in Kegalle district. 97 safe centers are running for them.
The distribution of food items and drinking water to the safe centers within Aranayake, Ramwella, Mawanella, Bulathkohupitiya and Yatiyantha where the displaced Divisional Secretariat of Aranayaka, Ramwella, Mawanella, Bulathkohupitiya and Yatiyantha is now in action by intervention in the District Secretariat office as per the instructions of Mr. Jagat Herath.

Also for distribution to the disabled public, dry foods, total sets, pigan cups, pampas for children, hygiene towels, unused underwear, paracetamol/covers/siddhalepa, baby milk bottles, milk pots, mosquito nuts, candles etc. Goods and materials available at Kegalla District Secretariat office from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
