The World Mental Health Forum has been celebrated on various themes selected in connection with the celebration of World Mental Health Day which is celebrated from 2005 to 10 October. The forum has chosen the theme "Mental Health in Cases of Disaster and Emergency" for 2025. When natural disasters causes damage to people and properties, but people in such situations cannot physically see the damage that causes mental. Providing an understanding of how these phenomenons affect individuals' mental health can successfully deal with it in times of disaster or emergency.
Also officers dealing with people facing such incidents can also have various mental complications. Why is counseling important for government officials working as a duty and humanitarian mission to restore the community affected by the disaster situation? Continuous characteristics of anger, frustration, depression, stress, anxiety, doubt, pain, uncertainty, emotional trauma, emptiness, artistry etc. No need to say strange about the stress you feel when you alone save and leave everything behind. Government officials have to deal with a community in such a background. It usually needs to listen to people's problems with a twisted mental level and mediation beyond solving their problems. Being unanimous with their problems, patience, attention are qualities that the officer should show. When we show kindness in us to be kind to others, they will then look desperately to get those services without feeling guilty about the officers. So psychotherapy counseling is greatly helpful in maintaining the mental health of government officials and to clear the minds of people with mental complications.
