A special discussion related to the Kegalu Mihindu Maha Perahara which is going to be held successfully for the 85th time on the occasion of Poson Poya was held today (02) under the leadership of Environment Minister Dhammika Patabandhe and Kegalle District Secretary/Dissapor K.G.S Nishantha, the District Secretariat Office was held at the auditorium.
Connecting elephants in connection with the Kegalu Mihidu Perahera, procession decoration and city decoration, travelways, water, electric toilets etc, many issues were discussed here with AA sections including protection for the Perahera and viewing, after the city sanitation.
Accordingly, the coordination required for the successfully conducting the 85th Mihindu Maha Perahera which is scheduled to be held on the night of July 4th.
Following this event, the main Sangha leader of the four Korala Maha Sangha including the three Bulathgama Korala, retired Deputy Director of Education, Honorable Chairman of Kegalla Legislative Guard, Honorable Temple Hemmatagama Siddharthana Thero including the Maha Sangha Ratna, District political representatives, additional discharges. A group of officers, contributors and members of the council gathered together.
