The women's/men's competition of the sports tournament organized by the Kegalle District Secretariat ended successfully yesterday (24) at the Batamure Stadium in Rambukkana.

In this competition, which aims to develop camaraderie and improve physical health among the officers of the District Secretariat. The women's championship was won by the Gamuna team, the runner-up was won by the Parakum team, the men's championship was won by the Parakum team, and the men's runner-up was won by the Vijaya team after a tight competition.

The sports tournament is organized jointly by the District Sports Department, Productivity Department and Welfare Association.

Additional District Secretary (Administration) Charitha Illangakoon, Additional District Secretary (Land and Development) Dinisha S. Rathnayake, Rambukkana Divisional Secretary Indika Liyanage, Assistant Divisional Secretary Sameera Gamlath, District Sports Officer Suseema Paruswella were present on this occasion.
