By directing Sabaragamuwa Provincial Sports Development Department, Kegalle District Secretariat, Kegalle Police and organized by Rockhill Sports Club and Suhada Mithuru Sansadaya together with Day/Night Kegalle Volleyball Festival - 2022 started yesterday (14) at Kegalle Police Stadium.

Accordingly, on the first day (14) government institutions mixed tournament, on 15th and 16th amateur volleyball (boys/girls) matches, on 17th sports club volleyball matches, on (18th) Kegalle district veterans and air force, army, police and sports clubs. Arrangements have been made to hold the final tournament together.

Kegalle District Member of Parliament Mrs. Rajika Wickramasinghe, Kegalle and Warakapola Divisional Council Chairpersons, political representatives, District Secretary Mr. Mahinda S. Weerasooriya, Senior Superintendents of Police, sports officials, government officials, and sports fans were present at the inauguration.
