A program organized by the Kegalle District Employment Promotion Division (Manpower and Security Department) and the District Secretariat to employ the unemployed youth of the district was started today (15) in the morning.

Several job providers within and outside Kegalle district such as Cargills Institute, Certis Lanka Institute, Nolimit Institute participated in this event and the job seekers who qualified for the vacancies of those institutions are to be recruited accordingly.

The Department of Manpower and Security and the District Secretariat are jointly implementing various programs to reduce unemployment in the district.

Human resource officers of the district secretary's office, officers of the human resource department of employment agencies and many young people who are looking for jobs participated in this event.
