The Kegalle District Audit and Management Committee meeting was chaired by Mr. J.M.R.P.Jayasinghe, Kegalle District Secretary, this morning (28) at the District Secretariat Auditorium.

Follow-up on the progress of implementation of the recommendations of the Accounts Committee, follow-up on matters discussed in previous committee meetings, follow-up on internal audits and Auditor General's audit queries, progress on matters to be evaluated on the performance of the institutions under the supervision of the Government Accounts Committee, and many issues such as new Auditor General's audit queries etc. It was discussed in the district audit and management committee meeting this time.

For this occasion, Kegalle Additional District Secretary (Administration) Dinisha S. Rathnayake, Audit Superintendent of Kegalle National Audit Sub Office N.M.P.Wickramasinghe, Assistant Director of Management Audit Department Lochana Mannapperuma, Chief Internal Auditor of the Ministry of Home Affairs S.A.N.R.Subhasinghe, District Chief Internal Auditor Mrs. Thushari Jayawardena, staff officers of the District Secretariat, Divisional Secretaries and many officials of the government institutions of the district participated.
