The Kegalle District Coordination Committee was held in the morning today (17) under the leadership of the District Political Authority and with the participation of government officials.

This year's coordination committee, which began with the introduction of the government's special development programs implemented by the district secretariat, focused on many issues related to Kegalle district. Accordingly, future plans and progress in many sectors such as health, environment, education, agriculture, housing, roads and security situation in the district were discussed here.

For this occasion, Kegalle District Coordinating Committee Chairperson, Member of Parliament Rajika Wickramasinghe, Minister of State for Technology Kanaka Herath, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Taraka Balasuriya, Member of Parliament Udayakantha Gunathilake and Member of Parliament for Samagi Jana Balawegaye Sujith Sanjay Perera, District Political Authority, Sabaragamu Province Chief Secretary of the Assembly Mahinda S. Weerasuriya and Kegalle District Secretary Ranjan Jayasinghe, heads of government institutions of the district, officials of security departments and others participated.
