On the occasion of Pozon Pohya, the district secretary's office had organized a series of programs today (02) to develop the joy of Buddhalambhana with devotion. Accordingly, the "Poson Bathi Gee Saraniaya" organized by the District Culture Division was successfully held at the District Secretariat office premises with the participation of officers from all departments of the office.

Also, the "Sith Dahana" psychological counseling program presented by the Parami Circle of the District Buddhist Affairs Department was held for the staff officers with the resources of the District Counseling Officer Mrs. Renuka Jayarathne. After that, with the contribution of the district statistics department, it was also arranged to give bags containing unnecessary food items to three employees who are doing cleaning work in the office.

"Andabhuta" Jataka was also performed simultaneously by the officials of the District Secretariat and it was directed by Mr. Sooriya Bandara of the District Samurdhi Division. The musical direction was by Mohan Kumara of the Admin Division.

During these specials, the Ice Cream Dansala organized by the Weighing Department was also successfully held with the participation of many people.

For all these occasions, District Governor/District Secretary Ranjan Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Administration) Dinisha S. Rathnayake, Additional District Secretary (Lands and Development) Gamalatge Dilip Nishantha and all staff officers and staff were present.
