The "Damsarani" Poson Zone was opened yesterday (03) under the chairmanship of Kegalle District Governor/District Secretary Mr. Ranjan Jayasinghe.

Organized by the Kegalle Divisional Secretariat, this poson zone consists of many special features including lantern competitions, exhibitions, devotional song shows, Buddhist plays, dansals, and market stalls.

On June 3rd and 4th, everyone has the opportunity to visit this poson zone at the Kegalle Freeway Mawatha premises from 6pm.

The opening occasion was blessed by the Maha Sangha, Kegalle Additional District Secretary (Administration) Dinisha S. Rathnayake, Additional District Secretary (Lands) Gamalathge Dilip Nishantha, Kegalle Divisional Secretary K.G.S. Nishantha and other government officials, devotees and many others participated.
