All activities are ready for the Kegalu Abhiman - 2023 domestic and foreign job fair organized by the District Secretariat and the Ministry of Technology to be held on July 8 at the Kegalu Girls' College. Regarding the role that will take place on that day, an inquiry was conducted yesterday (05) in the afternoon (05) at the district secretariat auditorium with the participation of State Minister of Technology Kanaka Herath and Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe.

Currently, 41 local employment agencies, 29 foreign employment agencies, 15 self-employment agencies, 24 higher education institutions, 32 vocational training institutions and 07 financial service providers are ready to join hands with this opportunity.

Currently, more than 6500 young people are registered with this job site and further registrations are going on and all those registered and unregistered can participate.

Many services including domestic and foreign employment opportunities, vocational training, career counseling, self-employment opportunities in industrial/agricultural sectors, credit facilities provided by financial institutions will be provided for you on that day.

A regular follow-up regarding the professional training opportunities or job opportunities of the young people joining with Kegalu Abhiman-2023 is also expected to be done in the long term after this program.
