The Kegalle Abhiman-2023, organized by the Kegalle District Secretariat and the State Ministry of Technology with the financial support of ULEED, was successfully completed today (08) at the Kegalle Girls' College with the participation of many young people.

Through this job fair, which had more than one hundred and fifty booths, many services and facilities including vocational training, career guidance, local and foreign job opportunities, financial institution service facilities, self-employment opportunities in industrial and agricultural sectors were provided.

The Ceylon Industrial Development Board and the National Apprenticeship and Technical Training Authority also awarded NVQ certificates to the students who completed the courses.

Along with this program, all the young people who registered for the Kegalu Abhiman program today will be followed up regularly until their professional training and employment expectations are fulfilled.

On this occasion, State Minister of Technology Kanaka Herath, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Taraka Balasuriya, District Co-Chairperson Rajika Wickramasinghe and district political representatives, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Chief Secretary Mahinda S. Weerasuriya, Ranjana Jayasinghe District Secretary of Kegalle, additional district secretaries, chairmen and directors of various institutions and ministries, divisional secretaries, government officials belonging to various institutions, and a large number of young women were present.
