A positive thinking workshop for adults was held this morning (11) in the auditorium of the district secretariat under the first phase of the day center-related, motivational digital literacy, yoga exercise and job creation program series.
Accordingly, this awareness is done for the purpose of improving the attitudes of the elderly community through positive attitudes and spending their time meaningfully, and the District Elderly Division including Mrs. Dilani Kumari, the District Elderly Promotion Officer, and the National Elderly General Secretariat are organizing this series of programs. Resource contribution for the workshop was given by Mr. Dhammika Bandara, Project Officer of Kurunegala District Secretariat.
Along with this, on the coming days of 12th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd, many special programs have been organized for the adults of the district including making sweets, yoga exercises, digital technology, rabies and leprosy awareness.
District Governor/District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Administration) Dinisha S. Ratnayake, officers of the National Elderly General Secretariat, Elderly Promotion Officers of the District and Divisional Secretariats, members of the Elderly Power Boards of the District and Divisional Secretariats were present on this occasion.
