A training program on import and export procedures for a group of businessmen in Kegalle district was held today (24) at the district secretariat auditorium in order to uplift the country's economy by creating an export-oriented economy.

The Ceylon Industrial Development Board is implementing many programs with the aim of training ten million entrepreneurs in the whole island and producing two hundred thousand entrepreneurs, and organized this training as another extension, and other legal conditions including standards, technical and managerial instructions, customs process affecting the export and import process, Mr. Thushara Jayalath, Deputy Director of Export Development Board (Central Provinces), informed about this.

Additional District Secretary (Lands) Gamalatge Dilip Nishantha, Industrial Development Board Sabaragamu Provincial Director S.A.G. Senanayake, government officials and businessmen were present on that occasion.
