Permanent appointments under the first phase of multi-purpose development assistance trainees under the 100,000 jobs program were made yesterday (27) at the Kegalle Municipal Council Auditorium.

Appointments were made for 267 trainees of the institutions belonging to the provincial council.

Minister of State for Provincial Councils and Local Government Mr. Janaka Vakkambura, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mr. Taraka Balasuriya, Minister of State for Technology Mr. Kanaka Herath, Chairperson of Kagalla District Development Committee Ms. Rajika Wickramasinghe, Members of Parliament Mr. Udayakantha Gunathilaka, Mr. Sudath Manjula, Mr. Sujith Mr. Sanjay, Sabaragamu Province Chief Secretary Mahinda S. Mr. Weerasuriya, Kegalle District Secretary Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe, Provincial Multipurpose Director and a group of government officials participated.
