The NGO coordination meeting was held yesterday (12) at the District Secretariat Auditorium to examine the progress of the NGOs operating in the Kegalle district in relation to the last three quarters of this year.

Children, school students, young women, women, people suffering from various prejudices, various layers of the society including the plantation community, and the annual action plans of the projects related to the district of various non-governmental organizations, the beneficiaries as well as the future Plans were discussed here.

And among the proposals gathered here, the need to further expand the research on the needs of the society, and the need to implement the programs of various non-governmental organizations with the same objective under a common plan with mutual support was highlighted.

Additional District Secretary (Lands) Gamalatge Dilip Nishantha, Director General of the National Secretariat for Non-Governmental Organizations Sanjeeva Wimalagunaratne, District Planning Director A.A. Weerakoon, District Non-Governmental Organization Coordinator Nishantha Premathilaka and representatives of non-governmental organizations were present on the occasion.
