In conjunction with the Kegalle District 'Kala Vibhashi' Literary Festival, a "Swara Sittam" officer art festival was held recently (27th) at the Kegalle St/Joseph Girls' Primary School Auditorium to enhance the artistic skills of the officers of the District Secretariat and all Divisional Secretariats.

Represented by all eleven Divisional Secretariats in the district, this performance experience consisted of singing, dancing and acting. The occasion also coincided with the introduction of two new songs written by Mrs. Dinisha S. Ratnayake, Additional District Secretary (Administration).

This program was organized by the cultural department including the district cultural officer Mrs. Kanchana Wijeratne.

District Governor/District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Lands) Gamalathge Dilip Nishantha, staff officers, Warakalopa Divisional Secretary Mr. Rangana Sajeeva and government officials were present on that occasion.
