In conjunction with the 76th Independence Day commemoration, under the National Plantation Program of planting 10 lakh medicinal plants. With the support of community health medical officers of Ayurveda Conservation Council, a medicinal plant planting program was carried out today (02) in the participation of District Secretary/District Governor Ranjana Jayasinghe at Kegalle Tourist Bungalow Premises.

Additional District Secretary K. G. S. Nishantha, Director of Agriculture A. M. U. Pinnalanda, Administrative Officer R. M. P. Y. Ratnayake and other officials of the District Secretariat also participated.
