The Kegalle district program of the nation wide program to train trainers for surveying new applications was held today (9) at the district secretary's office.

Call for new applications for selection of relief beneficiary families ended on 22 March 2024.

To survey these applications, one officer and an inspector will be trained in the Welfare Benefit Information Unit as trainers representing the Grama Niladhari domains.

For this occasion, Additional District Secretary (Administration) K. G. S. Nishantha, District Welfare Director T. A.P. Kusumsiri, Welfare Benefits Board Assistant Commissioner Neranjan Sigera, Grievance Specialist Amila Priyanga, Communication Specialist Dinusha Premathilaka, Village Officers, Economic Development Officers and others participated.
