A meeting to review the progress of the social service officers performing their duties in the district was recently held at the district secretariat auditorium.

There, special attention was paid to several issues and with the aim of ensuring the economic and social well-being of the disabled community and their family members, Swashakti National Program, construction of houses for disabled people, skill development center teacher training program, Dream Sri Lanka, disability and kidney allowances and it included the progress of the first quarter of 2024.

The program was organized by the department including the District Social Service Officer Mr. Sarath Ranaweera.

Additional District Secretary (Administration) Mr. K.G.S. Nishantha and social service officers were present on that occasion.
