A capacity development program was held today (16) at the District Secretariat Auditorium for the Development Officers who carry out duties related to the domains of Mawanella, Rambukkana, Galigamuwa, Kegalle Aranayaka Divisional Secretariat Divisions.

Under it, awareness was given about attitude development, positive thinking, development of self-concept, how to identify and deal with a child with problems, childhood risk factors and development of listening skills for women at risk.

Sabaragamu Provincial Director of Industrial Development Board S.A.G. Senanayake and District Senior Counseling Officer Renuka Jayaratne contributed resources for this awareness raising organized by the District Training Unit.

District Secretary/District Governor Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Admin) K.G.S. Nishantha and Assistant District Secretary Malsha L. Priyadarshani attended the event.
