A three-month training program was started today (10) under the chairmanship of District Secretary Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe at the district secretariat office for new officers who were recruited based on the results of the written examination and interview for the recruitment of village officers to the 111th grade.

Accordingly, 75 village officers related to Kegalle district have been deployed for this training session.

This training is going to be conducted at the district secretariat, divisional secretariat and village official division level.

Arrangements have been made to organize this training program in such a way that the village officials can get an understanding of the relevant practical situations by going to the respective institutions about the duties and responsibilities assigned to the post of village official.

For this occasion, Additional District Secretary (Administration) K.G.S. Nishantha, Additional District Secretary (Lands) Mr. Dilip Nishantha and other staff officers of the District Secretariat, Warakapola Administrative Village Officer A.L. C. J. Liyanage participated in this event.
