A program organized by the Foreign Employment Division with the aim of strengthening the minds of the foreign employment development officers psychologically and supporting them with psychological problems covering all the divisional secretaries of Kegalle district was held recently (03) under the chairmanship of the district secretary/district president Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe in the auditorium of the district secretariat.

Major Chamila Prasad Pedurarachchi, psychologist of Narahenpita Army Hospital, contributed resources to educate these foreign employment development officers. After that awareness, this program was implemented with the aim of helping to solve the psychological problems of the migrant community and the members of those families through them. 

There, District Foreign Employment Coordinator Development Officer Harendra Udumulla and Foreign Employment Ministry Trainer Training Officer Lanka Sumanadasa and gentlemen explained the objectives of the program.

The special feature is that this psycho-social program is implemented in Kegalle district first among the districts of Sri Lanka.

Officials from the foreign employment departments of the district and divisional secretariats participated in this event.
