A capacity development program for Grama Niladhari officers organized by the District Training Unit was held at the Kegalle National Youth Corps Center on 21st March.
This was the first program of this program, which is being conducted under three phases, and a group of Grama Niladhari Officers from the Kegalle, Galigamuwa, Rambukkana, Mawanella, Aranayake, and Warakapola Divisional Secretariats participated in it.
The resource for this was provided by the Kegalle District Psychological Counseling Officer, Mrs. Renuka Jayaratne, and the Kegalle Divisional Senior Superintendent of Police, Mr. Y.L. Leelawansa.
The inaugural event was attended by the District Secretary/Government Agent, Mr. Jagath Herath, Assistant District Secretary, Mr. Malsha L. Priyadarshani, and a group of others.
