The Netball matches of the District Secretariat Sports Tournament organized by the District Sports Division, Welfare Association and Productivity Division were successfully concluded today (01) at the Kegalle Police Stadium.

The championship of this tournament held between Vijaya, Gemuna, Tissa and Parakum teams was won by the Parakum team after a sharp and heated competition.

The last day of the district secretariat sports tournament along with cricket (women/men) and athletics is scheduled to be held at the Kegalu College Stadium on the coming (10).

Additional District Secretary (Administration) Charitha Illangakoon, Additional District Secretary (Land and Development) Dinisha S. Ratnayake, Assistant District Secretary Malsha L. Priyadarshani and other staff officers, District Sports Officer Suseema Paruswella, Mobitel Kegalle District Assistant Director Mr. Shirantha Wijepala were present on this occasion and many government officials including the staff were present.
