The Department of Social Services and the Voice Institute have jointly conducted a census that includes the information of persons with disabilities covering the entire island. It is expected to get information for the relevant census with the help of an app available on the mobile phone.

In relation to that, with the participation of the officers of the Department of Social Services working in the districts of Kegalle and Ratnapura, a briefing was held yesterday (13) in the auditorium of the district secretariat under the leadership of Additional District Secretary (Control) Mrs. Charita Ilangakoon.

A group of people including officials from the Voice Institute and the Department of Social Services were present on that occasion.
