A National Environment Week has been designated from May 30 to June 5 for World Environment Day, which falls on June 5.

For that purpose, with the participation of the District Governor/District Secretary Ranjan Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Lands and Development) Gamalathge Dilip Nishantha and all the staff members, they came together for half an hour to clean their office premises for the day of cleaning the environment on 01 June.
